Recognized by National and State Pickleball Bodies

The Chennai District Pickleball Association (CDPA) operates under the official recognition and guidance of two major organizations governing pickleball in India:

AIPA (All India Pickleball Association)

The All India Pickleball Association (AIPA) is the national governing body for pickleball in India, affiliated with the International Pickleball Federation. AIPA promotes the sport at the national and international level, organizes national championships, and provides a structured platform for district and state associations to nurture emerging talent.

As an affiliated member, CDPA aligns its training programs, tournaments, and development activities with AIPA’s standards, ensuring players from Chennai can participate in official state and national tournaments.

APTSU (Amateur Pickleball Tamil Nadu Sports Unit)

The Amateur Pickleball Tamil Nadu Sports Unit (APTSU) oversees the growth of pickleball across Tamil Nadu. As a state-level body affiliated with AIPA, APTSU coordinates between district associations to promote tournaments, organize state championships, and identify players for the national circuit.

CDPA proudly functions as one of APTSU’s official district associations, representing Chennai’s pickleball players and hosting various district-level and open tournaments.

Together with AIPA and APTSU, we are shaping the future of pickleball in Chennai — building players, promoting passion, and taking the sport to every corner of the district.
